License Model
Some companies wish to "own" a license to the BizPay Direct™ solution and to manage and support the software at its discretion. There are certainly some benefits to this type of structure including the ability of the Licensee to now put itself in the "shoes" of the Service Bureau payment processor. In doing so, the Licensee can now actively market the BizPay Direct™ solution and services to not only end customers but also to "partners" that already have established customer bases.
Choosing the license model, the licensee essentially becomes the provider of an "on-demand" payment solution, as compared to a User of an "on-demand" payment solution. |

Subscribing to the BizPay Direct™ Solution through our On-Demand ASP Model provides a number of benefits to the end-user. Many companies prefer a solution they can "tap" when they want or need it and don't want anything to do with up-front licensing fees or software support issues. With an "On-Demand service like this, companies are able to free up their internal staff to focus on running their business. Similar to renting an apartment for a period of time, the On-Demand ASP Model allows companies reap the benefits of sophisticated solutions and software they might not have the resources to invest in at the time.
For these companies, we offer a functionality-rich direct deposit and payment solution that is available on a per-transaction-per-month basis. Empay Systems is responsible for all hardware and software, including periodic upgrades, maintenance and support.
